At the end of September, a new sports complex in Karviná opened to the public. The Moravia Division of the company OHLA ŽS had been working on its construction since July 2020. A football pitch, a skate park, an in-line track as well as a 257-meter-long cross-country circuit have been built on the green, which had not been used for years, near the Business Secondary School.
The complex also includes two pump truck tracks, which are closed circuits with waves and bends for bike and scooter riding. There is also a workout pitch and a new skate park. Last but not least, a children’s playground has been built for the little ones. The multifunctional sports complex has free access, except for the paid football pitch, which can be booked via the sports complex website. Visitors to the pitch have access to sanitary facilities, including the showers, the lockers and a vending machine with refreshments in the Business Secondary School, which takes care of the complex and the reservation website.
